We are excited to announce that Riverside Porto will be launching two Bible reading initiatives, beginning on January 1st and concluding on December 31, aimed at deepening our connection with the Word of God and drawing closer to Him.

1. The Old and New Testament Reading in One Year: The first program will take us on a remarkable journey through the Old and the New Testaments, from Genesis to Revelation. This initiative is designed for those who are eager to explore the complete narrative of God's message to us and delve into the wisdom it offers. We have selected the "Bible In a Year” plan available on the YouVersion Bible Platform which begins with the Book of Genesis and concludes with the Book of Revelation. You may join our OT & NT Bible Reading Group on WhatsApp to receive weekly reading reminders.

2. The New Testament in One Year: The second program will focus exclusively on reading the New Testament. This option is perfect for those with busy schedules who may find it challenging to commit to reading the entire Bible but still want to engage with the teachings of Jesus Christ and the early Christian community. We have selected the "BibleProject | New Testament In One Year" plan available on the YouVersion Bible Platform which will take you through the New Testament. You may join our NT Bible Reading Group on WhatsApp to receive weekly reading reminders.

You also have the opportunity to engage in this reading journey with friends by inviting them to join the plan you have selected, share thoughts, and track each other's reading progress.

Our goal with these initiatives is to cultivate a habit of regularly immersing ourselves in the Word of God, nurturing our spiritual growth, and fostering a closer relationship with the Divine. We encourage each and every one of you to participate in one of these programs, as we embark on this meaningful journey together. Whether you choose to explore the entire Bible or concentrate on the New Testament, both paths will lead us toward a deeper understanding of our faith and a more intimate connection with God.
